For a honeymoon in Pahalgam, Hotel Sparrow's Superior Room is a 265 sq ft mountain-view room with a king bed, in quiet Kullar away from the market crowds. It costs ₹3,500 plus 5% GST a night, with breakfast and dinner included, and Betaab Valley is a short drive away.
Why couples choose Kullar
Couples choose Kullar because it is quiet. Most hotels in Pahalgam sit around the central market, where evenings are busy and the view is often the building across the road. Kullar is a short drive away, among orchards and pine slopes, so you get calm mornings, starry nights and the mountains in front of you.
It is also practical. The drive to Betaab Valley and Chandanwari is short, Aru Valley is an easy half day, and our front desk arranges taxis, so you spend your time together rather than planning logistics. Read more about hotels in Kullar Pahalgam.
The room: Superior Room with a mountain view
The Superior Room is the one we recommend to couples. It faces the snow-clad Himalayan peaks through a large window, and morning light comes in over warm wood floors and a Kashmiri carpet runner. At 265 sq ft it has a king bed with a carved lattice headboard, a leather armchair and sitting corner, a work desk, a tea station and an ensuite bathroom.
- King bed and a mountain-facing window
- Sitting corner for quiet evenings in
- Ensuite bathroom inside the room
- Tea and coffee station, flat-screen TV and high-speed WiFi
- 24-hour front desk for anything you need

Mountain-facing rooms are limited, so mention that you are on your honeymoon when you book and we will do our best to give you the best view available on your dates.
Dinner and the meal plan
The Superior Room rate includes breakfast and dinner, so you never have to hunt for a restaurant on a cold evening. Our ground-floor restaurant serves Kashmiri, Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes, vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Breakfast is from 7:30 to 10:00 AM and dinner from 8:00 to 10:30 PM.
Try a Kashmiri meal at least once: rogan josh, yakhni and a cup of saffron kahwa after dinner. Our guide to Kashmiri food explains the dishes, and the dining page shows the restaurant.
A sample three-night couple plan
Night 1: arrive and slow down
Drive up from Srinagar in daylight, about 2.5 to 3 hours. Settle in, take a short walk through Kullar, and have dinner at the hotel.
Night 2: Betaab Valley and Chandanwari
Leave after breakfast for Betaab Valley, with its flat meadow walks and glacial stream, then carry on to Chandanwari at the road's end. Back by late afternoon for tea on the terrace.
Night 3: Aru Valley and the Lidder
Go to Aru Valley in the morning when it is quietest, then spend the afternoon by the Lidder River. Our full 3-day Pahalgam itinerary has more detail, and the honeymoon in Pahalgam guide covers the best seasons for couples.
